InLayers — Fashion & Culture

We create contemporary, expressive clothing inspired by art, architecture, cinema, and traditional craftsmanship.

We are inspired by the dialogue between Asian and European cultures: how people exchange ideas, explore materials, preserve familiar forms, and reinterpret them. In traditional silhouettes, historical patterns, and handcrafted techniques, we find inspiration for the contemporary wardrobe.

We bring research and experimentation together. We explore cultural references, collect visual observations, and test ideas through practice: changing the scale of patterns, combining fabrics, and experimenting with cut, color, and volume. This is how the layered identity of InLayers takes shape — both in the design of each garment and in the interplay of different cultural influences.

Distinctive silhouettes, rich textures, and craftsmanship define the character of our clothing. Each piece becomes a focal point of an outfit, revealing different qualities when paired with everyday wardrobe essentials. We care about both appearance and feel: how fabric moves, drapes around the body, and allows freedom of movement.

Through our editorial platform, we explore the connections between traditional and contemporary culture. We share insights and discoveries through articles, photography, interviews, and video essays.

Here, you can follow how an observation develops into an idea that reshapes the way we see clothing and culture.
We value curiosity and a genuine interest in the world around us.

Exploring other cultures shifts our perspective and helps us express ourselves more clearly. InLayers clothing creates space for strength, emotional depth, and the freedom to move between roles while staying true to oneself.
